MEGADETH On ABC's 'Good Morning America': Video Available

MEGADETH's video for the song "Train of Consequences" was played on a video iPod during a segment about technology trends for 2006 on Dec. 29, 2005 on ABC-TV's "Good Morning America". A close-up shot of the iPod showcased the scene of the old lady hanging babies by their feet on a clothing line as the train goes past them which is also the recognizable art on the cover of [MEGADETH's] "Youthanasia" album. As previously reported, MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine announced at the conclusion of the band's headlining performance in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 9, 2005 that the group's current lineup — which includes James MacDonough (ex-ICED EARTH),drummer Shawn Drover (EIDOLON) and guitarist Glen Drover (EIDOLON) — will continue to record and tour under the name MEGADETH.

MEGADETH last fall completed a South American tour in support of "The System Has Failed", which came out in September 2004. The latest MEGADETH release, "Greatest Hits: Back to the Start" (Capitol),entered the Billboard chart at No. 65 and has sold 129,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
